I always wanted an ornate chess set to have on display. I considered an onyx chess set, but I like the additional feature of the fossils in the board and pieces! Each set is unique - if you are going to have a decorative set it might as well be visually appealing. The board itself is nice and comes in a great protective travel case!

I got this for my husband for Valentine's Day. He loves it. It is a definite so peice in our home. The pictures on the web does not do it justice. Absoulutely beautiful!

The chess set is beautiful! Even nicer than in the picture. Nice velvet box for storing. Service was fast. Shipping was free. Customer service was great. My daughter and her husband can't even play chess yet but are very proud just to display it. Thx!

I bought this set as a gift. The marble set was beautiful and flawless! Unfortunately, the case that came with it was damaged in transit to no fault of Marble N Things. When I called to ask for a replacement case, they were very accommodating and patient with me. The customer service of this vendor was incredible. I highly recommend this seller.

I gave it 4 stars because white and green blend in a lot. I thought it would have little bit more contrast. Also chess pieces don't have soft padding on the bottom. Overall it is beautiful.
